Another reputable site is http://www.unclaimed.org and can search every state in the U.S.

To improve your chances, be sure to enter all various possibilities for your name (i.e. James Patrick Jones, J.P. Jones, Jimmy Jones, etc.). These searches are private, and your name is only used to generate the results of the search.
