I brought a pile of leads to the Quick Start Real Estate School in Atlanta. I have mailed a lot of yellow letters and talked to a lot of suspects. I’ve gotten discouraged at times, however, persistence and good help from great mentors and teachers is paying off! I thought hand writing an ugly sign that “I buy houses” would never actually work, but Ron said it does so I thought I guess I’ll try it. I was even made fun of for it by a realtor. :'(
As far as I know, I have only received one phone call from that sign but that phone call turned into a deal. I got notice of the call while at the Quick Start in Atlanta and my mentors helped me to know exactly what to do.
I bought the house for $12,000 cash. I closed on a Friday and the following Monday I had an all cash offer for $15,000. Since my greed glands have kicked in and I know it is worth more than that, I’m currently negotiating with the gentleman. I have it advertised for $29,900 and have received several calls/emails on it already. I just wanted to share this. I’ll keep you posted on how it goes!

I’m so glad to be in the mentor program. Having all my questions answered by email throughout the week is priceless and knowing I have phone back up if I get in a tight spot while with a seller is great. I love the mentor program!
