    I’ve wondered the same thing. Banks foreclose, then wait forever to list, but the REO agent puts a lockbox on it.

    Maybe if you can read the lockbox serial # and ask a Realtor friend to look it up with the Realtor Association? Just thinking out loud here. Ron’s right probably just forget about it until it hits MLS…find another deal to pursue.
