Ask Ron: Saving Overleveraged Deals

In this edition of “Ask Ron,” Ron answers questions on using private money to rescue arrears on overleveraged deals, handling repair disputes in lease-options, following up with “call me in a few months” sellers, and managing lender notifications on subject-to deals. He also shares negotiation language for overpriced “upgraded” properties and strategies for keeping sellers focused on terms instead of inflated values.

Special thanks to Tony & Angie Stewart, Jessica Whitmore, Linda Chan, Derek Lawson, and Megan Foster for their great questions!

One Response to Ask Ron: Saving Overleveraged Deals

  1. Robert Straker says:

Hey Ron, I was not aware of a subject called an over leveraged deal. Now, I know of it and am glad you answered it so if I come across that matter, I’ll know what to do. Partnering with other investors is OK, but make sure you can trust them and they will not screw you over.
