“Are You Prepared to do Whatever it Takes to Become Successful?” by Andy Pitt

Not everyone becomes as successful as they want to during their lifetime. There are people who seem to turn everything they touch to gold, people who just never seem to make it, and those who are constantly striving for and seeking something better from life. Which category do you fit into?

Sure, there are people who appear to have been born with the proverbial silver spoon; those who seem to get everything in life so easily and make it even better for themselves. But there are also those who rise out of adversity and manage to make a success of their lives. How does it work? What’s the secret?

Well, paving the road to success is a process, and it takes time, effort and most importantly, action. Here are the questions you should be asking yourself:

What Do I Really Want?

Writing your goals down is essential if you ever want to realize them. Not only that, but you have to be realistic about things too and give them a timeframe. Some things take months to attain and others take years, but writing them down keeps them at the fore of your mind and makes you more likely to remember them.

How Am I Going To Get What I Want?

While you might be a great list-maker, it’s getting those dreams off the page and into reality that’s going to make the difference. You need an action plan. Having goals without action is called daydreaming, and people who get distracted by their dreams spend their lives wishing and not achieving.

You need to do something every day to work towards your goals, and review your progress every week and every month to make sure you stay on track. Not only do you need motivation, you also need to know when to give yourself a pat on the back.

Find A Mentor

If you can’t look up to your parents or extended family for motivation, then find someone else. Find someone great whose success story you can relate to and find out what steps they took to realize their success.

Accept Your Faults

No one is perfect and people make mistakes. The most successful people have made the most mistakes in life. Not allowing mistakes to knock you down is vital, because the road to success is a bumpy one. The difference is successful people just keep getting up, learning from their mistakes, and pushing forward.

Well said Andy, Goals without action is called daydreaming. I listen to a gentleman that says You don’t have to get it right you just have to get it going.
