“The Holy Grail of Health” by Barbara “BJ” LeGrand Cockrell

Finally, the long awaited, moment of truth you’ve all been waiting for. Have you been wondering, “when is she going to tell us how to get and stay healthy instead of just how we are currently destroying our bodies”?

Remember the old saying, “everything I really needed to know in life I learned in kindergarden”?

Well, it really started with the basics when mama said be sure to eat plenty of fruits and vegetables, and “an apple a day keeps the doctor away”.

It’s almost as simple as that. But let’s go back even further.

The Holy Grail of Health

I’m going to tell you exactly where to find it SO YOU CAN…

Reverse the destruction process and enjoy great health!

Genesis 1:11 Then God said, “let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed it in, according to their various kinds.” And it was so – the third day – after he produced water and the seas.

Genesis 1:29-30 Then God said, “I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food. And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds of the air and all the creatures that move on the ground – everything that has the breath of life in it – I give every green plant for food.” And it was so.

Genesis 2:8-9 “Now the Lord God had planted a garden in the east, in Eden, and there he put the man he had formed. And God made all kinds of trees grow out of the ground – trees that were pleasing to the eye and good for food.”

Daniel 1:3-17 The king ordered his officials to bring in some young men without any physical defect, handsome, showing aptitude for every kind of learning, to teach them the language and literature. The king assigned them a daily amount of food and wine from the king’s table. Among these were Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abendnego. But Daniel asked the chief official for permission not to defile himself this way with the royal food and wine. Now God caused the official to show favor and sympathy to Daniel, but the official told Daniel, “I am afraid of my lord the king, who has assigned your food and drink. Why should he see you looking worse than the other young men your age? The king would then have my head because of you.”

Daniel said, “please test your servants for ten days: give us nothing but vegetables to eat and water to drink. Then compare our appearance with that of the young men who eat the royal food, and treat your servants in accordance with what you see.” So he agreed to this and tested them for ten days. At the end of the ten days they looked healthier and better nourished than any of the young men who ate the royal food. So the guard took away their choice food and wine they were to drink and gave them vegetables instead.

To these four young men God gave knowledge and understanding of all kinds of literature and learning. And Daniel could understand visions and dreams of all kinds. In every matter of wisdom and understanding about which the king questioned them, he found them ten times better than all in his whole kingdom.”

So I say, by God, if vegetables were good enough for Him shouldn’t they be good enough for us?

Don’t panic, God never said we could never eat meat – see Leviticus 11.

Eating plants was in the master plan from the very beginning but we managed to screw that up, thinking we could improve our food supply. So where is that getting us?

We managed to take basic healthy salt from the sea, strip it, bleach it, ruin it, then put it into everything. We took wheat, stripped it, bleached it into white flour and ruined it. We took sugar from it’s purest form, refined it, and became addicted to it.

Leviticus 25:3 also told us we should let the soil rest for a year every 7th year, and what do we do?

We shoulda listened to mama. But it’s not all our fault; afterall, God told the first mama what to eat and what not to eat and she screwed that up too.

There is a need to simplify. Using cutting-edge science to understand what has to go wrong at the cellular level for disease to happen provides us with answers for a healthy life that can prevent and reverse disease.

Science validates and has proven what works, whether you believe in the bible, or God, or not.

In his book, Never Fear Cancer Again, scientist Raymond Francis, M.Sc. believes there is only one disease: malfunctioning cells creating symptons. Through his extensive scientific research, he states that to prevent and reverse cancer these are the certain things we must do:

  • Rid your life of sugar, wheat, processed oils, and dairy/excess animal protein
  • Switch to an organically grown, plant-based diet rich in raw, fresh fruits & vegetables and get on a high-quality supplement program
  • Juice fresh vegetables daily
  • Be mindful that every cell must get all the nutrients it needs every day.
  • Avoid putting cancer-causing toxins in your body, including glutamates, pesticides, and prescription drugs.
  • Get the vaccinations, chlorine, fluoride, and excess salt out of your life.
  • Normalize the pH in your cells by eating an alkalizing diet and talking alkaline mineral supplements.
  • Avoid processed oils and use flaxseed, olive, fish, and coconut oils.
  • Get regular exercise.
  • Get regular sleep.
  • Optimize your insulin levels by avoiding foods that increase insulin, such as refined grains, white potatoes, white rice, sweets, and sodas.
  • Measure for and eliminate heavy metals such as lead and mercury.
  • Optimize your vitamin D and iodine levels.
  • Eliminate the inflammation in your body – supplement with antioxidants.
  • Do regular saunas.
  • As much as possible, avoid electromagnetic fields and x-rays.
  • Address and resolve your old emotional wounds that contribute to disease.
  • Think positive thoughts and be grateful for all that you have.

Francis quotes “If you do all of the above to the best of your ability, and do so as consistently as possible, you can rest assured that you are doing everything within your power to support your body’s natural defenses against cancer. You have everything to gain and nothing to lose because this is a recipe for blocking tumor growth in your body. In fact, you may very well become cancer proof. Once you choose to live a cancer-free life, since there is only one disease, you are really choosing to live a disease-free life. That’s a choice worth making!”

So don’t you think its time we followed instructions?

In David Sandoval’s book, The Green Foods Bible, he states, the truth is the symptoms of really almost any chronic disease can be boiled down to a few common factors. They are: inflammation, oxidation, lack of alkaline factors, lack of enzymes and trace minerals in the diet, difficult or stagnant eliminative function, and toxic exposures.

According to Sandoval, “If we can apply our knowledge of healing foods and lifestyle changes to adjusting these factors–to bringing them within optimal ranges in our bodies–we can prevent virtually every chronic disease that afflicts our spieces.” In fact, he does not hesitate to say that “green foods are the closest thing to a panacea, a cure-all, than any other source, whether natural or from a scientist’s laboratory.”

It’s been proven that plants in their purest form sustain life. Simply eating a diet of mostly vegetables and fruits can cut your cancer risk by 50% and in some cases 90%.

Such is the case of my partner who reduced his cancer by 90% in his first year after discovery.
