We apologize for this inconvenience. The signature line on the left should be noted as “Assignor.” We are working to get this fixed. In the meantime, download the Word document, save to your computer, make the change and save.
Thanks for bringing to our attention, and don’t miss Ron’s Weekly Lesson video this week. He goes through the forms and tells you when to use them.
I like this part the best
1. Assignee hereby accepts said assignment and assumes, covenants, and agrees to carry out and perform all of Assignor’s obligations pursuant to the Contract.
2. This Assignment shall bind and inure to the benefit of the parties hereto and their respective successors and assigns.
Wow things have changed here I picked up a deal recently and needed to assign it I was thrilled with the ability to make changes right on the form and was able to save it used the form to make a quick $44,000 assignment fee lead came to http://www.SellingaHomefast.com met the folks on a Monday put it in contract on Tuesday had the assignment done on Wednesday we all closed escrow on Tuesday total 8 days to get paid.
This form is mostly used for corporations, and when dealing with corporations, the “its” line refers to the position of whoever is signing it.
For example, if Carolyn is the president of ABC United Corporation and is using this form, you would sign Carolyn on the first line, print Carolyn on the next line and write President on the its line.
This assignment is made and entered into this 1st day of May, 2016 by and between __________1______________, with its principal place of business at ________2_______________ (“Assignor”), and __________3______________, (with its principal place ¬¬¬of business at/residing at) ____________4___________________ (“Assignee”).
Can someone break it down what goes in to these blanks for me? Too simplify I labeled the blanks for you to respond exactly what to write down in the blanks. Just want to be sure I am not filling these out incorrectly. Thanks.
Randy,
#1 is you or your LLC (whatever you put on your contract with the seller).
#2 is your address
#3 is your new buyers name or company name
#4 is his address
As you continue to read the document a couple of times it makes better sense. that’s what I had to do awhile back 🙂
my first time doing one of these , in the wholesale and retail system, we have a form that allows you to enter the assignment fee, what about these one , how do you get you’re part pay?
In the assignment in the “WHEREAS” section you put the deposit in the first blank and do you put your profit margin in the next blank or the total of which the person agreed to pay for the home? For example. I have under contract for 30,000 and he agrees to pay 35,000. Do I put a deposit of 500 and the balance of 4500 or the total balance of 34500?
On the Assignment Word Doc, both signature blocks designate only “Assignee”; one should be “Assignor.”

Looks like this has been changed?
I think is fix
Still not fixed. I fixed mine just now, 2014
Should work now.
Hmmm! Wrong time and date of this post.

Congratulations! That is encouraging to read. I just started and I’m feeling really pumped.
Is this the same form you would use to assign your land trust? I didn’t see the form that said, Assignment of Beneficial Interest. Thank you.
Can a REO property under contract be assigned?
Hi there-
On the assignment agreement, on the signature part it says “ITS”…what does that mean, please? Thank you for your assistance.
Blessings,
C

In an ACTS deal would we put our company name or Assignee as the buyer on the P&S agreement?
You put your name.
