The website address Ron mentions for the Military Scholarship Program is http://www.OurMilitaryHeroes.org
@Nicholas Kouvatsos Thanks for that As an Army veteran i am appreciative of these types of efforts for all of those who served in uniform at home or abroad
Great website, Ron! Clean, concise, and creative. http://www.elegantthemes.com is a great resource where you can go to get a ton of WordPress templates. What a nice gesture towards our men and women veterans who’ve dedicated and served their lives to serving our country and keeping us safe. Thank you to all of you here who are veterans.
Thank you, Arthur, for your service to our country:)
The Military Scholarship Program is a great opportunity to assist our military veterans. Thanks Ron for acknowledgeing the sacrifices made by our men and women who have served.
Great info once again, Ron.
Ron, I like the way you teach things step-by-step. It makes it really easy to take notes and even go back to replay information at a later date!! Thanks again!!
@Valerie Newman it is true the way Ron teaches makes it easy to understand I enjoy watching them over and over to get the most out of each one of these videos
Ron’s been in the business so long and has made all the mistakes that could be done, so he knows what he is talking about.
And he knows how to teach because he’s been doing that for so long too. It’s nice now in his newer teaching videos that he does them with Lauren.
It just seems more interactive.
the attorney wo’nt record this agreement will
they?
@John K. Jackson recording an agreement is a function of the local laws where you are doing business as much as it is what is best for the deal – this is a great question for your attorney
Ron,this is a good one. I like to review the step by step videos. Keeping us on our toes. Thanks
@CHRISTOPHER PALUSZCZAK truly these are not just videos with information but training videos telling you “What would Ron do” and why would you do anything else?
I really like this info. It takes away a lot of fear of not knowing what to do once the deal is done.
@Aliyah Nicole you are right most of the problems in starting something new is the fear of not knowing in how to get the deal done and when you do get it done Now what?
Ron just breaks it down so well – there’s a reason he’s the Godfather of RE training.
He really has thought of everything, hasn’t he?
@ Taj Mohamed that is why Ron is the best teacher he is not being egotistical when he says that but simply compare his work to others and you see, do what he does and you can do what he does
once again, Ron.you did it
Thanks! Ron
awesome info, very critical stuff, thanks Ron.
WoW Thanks ron
To bad you didnt have time to let us know all
11 items, and not just the one. Seems as
though the videos are getting shorter.
I actually appreciate the shorter videos. I’d rather watch 3 10 min videos than one 28 min video.
Ron has a really good course on this called Selling Houses Fast. It goes into way more detail on the subject, but he’s covering the basics here.
@ Desiree Martin i think there is a method to Ron’s madness as a teacher By making each video very clear and pointed you can watch that short video and make sure you understand it and move on to the next one
Yes, I like the short overview videos so I can get the Big Picture first in preparation for attending the more in depth/detail seminars he has to offer.
Great stuff ron….
Kiss method. nice work Ron.
@ Mr. Ross you can often tell folks who served prior to the 1990s as the KISS was a very common teaching method in the military and it will serve you well the rest of your life
Looks like stageing a house for sale is important.
@ John Rogers yes John staging a house for sale is important. But do not let that take your eye off the ball. It just needs a little bit for basic clarity of what the room could be used for, remember KISS
Great job teaching this one Ron
I like that Ron uses on-line marketing.
Really appreciate the suggestion to use wordpress.com.
@ Ron Caruthers on thing i give papa Ron credit for is giving you as many no or low cost things to help your business as much as he gives top of the line stuff that costs but give a bang for the buck
Thanks for the information.
I hear that selling the house should be the easiest part of real estate investing. Is that true.WHo knows?
@Matthew Hell in all fairness I don’t think any of the business is “easy” I think it is fair to say the process of selling is simple but that does not mean no hiccups
I know that making the house absolutely gorgeous is the key to selling the house quickly. We have not been involved in rehabbing the houses yet, but the one thing we do know that is going to sell the house faster than anyone one else in the area, is to make it look awesome with features and doo dads that no other house will have in the same area.
I am really excited to start rehabbing.
@Matthew Hell i would disagree that the key is the house be absolutely gorgeous. If you have a buyer with enough down payment but can in no way qualify for a bank loan good will be good enough
@Matthew Hell i do not doubt you are right if it has all the doo dads that it will attract buyers. I wonder though if you spent less on the doo dads and more on the marketing to attract the right buyer would it work still
@Matthew Hell as i write this i realize you may be doing rehabbing for the retail market and not the lease option buyer. if that is the case the doo dads are nice but the right price and terms will bring them too
Ok. I watched it again and learn something new.
@Miko Rudzki that is no surprise that you watched Ron again and learned something new He packs a lot of punch in these videos and i think it is rare you get ALL of it with just one viewing
I just put a home under contract. I can’t wait to put this to work.
I have a question for the camera person. Why do you have to CONSTANTLY be adjusting the camera? Can’t you just hit record and take your hands off it? I hope all rest of the 120+ videos aren’t like this!
Maybe the Director told them to. CUT
Driving traffic to websites has never been a strong point for me. I’ve got websites for buyers, sellers, investors, and bird dogs. The sellers site RARELY gets a hit while the bird dog site gets the most traffic. I advertise them all on Craigslist. I would definitely benefit from the .com summit and I fully intend to get to it.
Good information, I like the ‘smell good’ comment, I’ve heard that cooking up a pot of beans, or a pie does wonders for buyer’s first impressions when they walk into the house. Thanks Ron!
i tried the website that Ron talked about .com summit and it does not work so please send the right website so we can learn more.
Thanks Ron .
Hey Tal,
The Dot Com Summit was an event Ron hosted a few years ago and not something we do ever year.
Sorry for the confusion!
I did not think of the website for selling my properties can build another buyers list. Now I have a stronger reason to build my website for sure.
I like the tips about staging the house. Getting a large enough deposit to determined the commitment by the buyer. And having a website and getting traffic. This is great and helpful information. Thanks a lot Ron!
Staging, YES!!! Just enough they can vision where they would put their things to make it their house.
great info. I was looking for info on selling quickly. Thanks. See you at quick start in march.
Thanks for that roadmap!
really good info. I’m been trying to get better at selling houses faster.
Dear Ron,
I am a little confused. Is this for rehabbing/retailing a home or what about wholesaling the home?
Retail buyers are emotional and want “homes” rather than houses. It’s critical to have the property attractive both outside and inside. Proper staging will pay dividends. Marketing is important to enable buyers to view property virtually. Build a website or landing page and drive traffic to it with advertisement. Gather pertinent information on lead sheets and follow-up quickly. Pre-screened buyers can be provided an access code to view the house which may be on lock-box. A database of buyers should be kept to potentially market other properties. Ask for a substantial deposit and close quickly.
This is very good infromation I love the next step form!!!
okay, I got a question. Does Ron do the staging to all his sales, to T/B and the ones he sells true realtors….
Great Info…Very helpful, very comprehensive.
Thanks Ron!!!
I now “Look for” Brad Addis’ comments regularly…Thanks Brad…Excellent follow up instructions…keep em coming please.
Hey all I can say is thank you because without all of this information on this website I would still be focused on my job driving my taxi cab
This was very informative.
Quick & informative, nice save Lauren.
The sound effects of the old school internet connect was actually brilliant, Lauren!lol Jerked me to attention so your little ‘oops’ actually worked out better in the long run;)
Yes, loved the ‘bleep out’!lol
What a great service you are providing for our veterans, Ron.
The more money Buyers give, the more committed and invested they are in the deal.
No check, no commitment. Period. Only know you’ve got a buyer when they put up the funds to prove it.
I’m a newbie and am looking to do my very first Pretty House deal. This is great information, but it flies a bit in the face of little to none of my money needed to get started. Landscaping, painting, carpeting, and staging. Heck staging alone could be a couple of thousand here in the MD, DC, VA area. In real world terms, how much am I really looking at spending to get my first deal?
I can’t wait to put some of these skills into action so I can see the kind of money it would bring me.
“No check, no commitment”
