In this lesson, Ron covers the first 3 major reasons houses don’t sell and what you need to do to overcome them.
*In this video, Ron refers to a link to a Chase Fine Home video, here it is: http://www.youtube.com/user/ChaseFineHomes

As usual, great insight into getting the house ready for sale.
Thanks, Ron.
I totally agree.
@ Michael Attah you are so right Michael Ron’s great insight into getting the house ready for sale is key to it being ready to hit the market with the buyer and the budget in mind
Thank you soooo much Ron.
Great info, Great ideas, Thanks Ron
Hopefully , if you have a buyer’s list it could help with this situation.
@ Aliyah Nicole i think this demonstrates clearly the real dollar value of the good and ready to go buyers list You can concentrate on finding the home they want to buy rather than the other way around
Great ideas great insight into getting to sale house
Thanks Ron, amazing video, you always cut to the core of necessary stuff.
@ Scott Burton there is no doubt that Ron unlike so many other “teachers” out there for real estate business always cut to the core of necessary stuff. there is no fluff with Ron on the job just meat and potatoes
Good videa as usual and right on the subject
Can’t wait what’s on the next video.
What!?! Only one tip! I feel cheated!
Just kidding. Great, useful information as always.
I’m assuming that the money being spent is for foreclosures and rehabs, correct? Pretty houses should be ready to go already except for staging? Anyone feel free to correct me if I missed something.
I believe you are correct Ron. I know ” one tip” lol. Great info tho. I have beening using rons advice for a couple months now and is doing me wonders.
@ Ron Caruthers i think there is some debate about that point Ron Caruthers Pretty houses should be ready and often are often ready to go but what if the yard looked uninviting wouldn’t you have a guy clean up the yard and maybe plant a flower or two for color
@ Matthew Hell you are right Matthew Hell one tip from Ron is probably worth more than a full course from many other teachers in the market What would you say has been the most lucrative advice for the world of Ron for you?
Very relevant information. Good things to be aware of.
AS always great information coming from you Ron. Thanks
It would be nice if every market were like Washington DC, LOL. go where government is growing faster than anywhere, no recession and no housing bubble… Staging is important though all kidding aside. thanks for the info
Do you fellow investors go to the same staging lengths to fill an ACTS or Lease purchase house? Seems to go against the philosophy of as-is/ quickly sign & fill. Your response is appreciated – JB
I’m wondering the same thing…
Stage the house for appearance. All else being equal, it would seem the best fixup is in the kitchen, sometimes including new stainless steel appliances. Kitchen and bathrooms are the best bang for your dollars.
Very practical.
And hope it’s not a snowy day in Michigan.
ExSELLent information Ron. Staging sells the house…It is NOT an expense……again great knowledge Ron Thank you!

Great info Ron, I couldn’t find the youtube video though.
Ron and company. Thanks for providing the link to form that you referenced during the lesson. May I suggest that links be provided for each form, contract, etc. that is referenced in a lesson. It’s a great time saver. Thanks.
Sounds beautiful. I want to buy that house!
The first reason houses don’t sell quickly is when they are unattractive or appear unkempt both on the outside and inside. Fresh paint, updated bathrooms, gorgeous kitchens with stainless steel appliances are money! Attention to details such as staging the house, giving a homey appearance pays dividends. Always provide a lock-box for pre-screened buyers to tour the house. Informational house flyers, an application and “what to do next” sheet should be displayed on the kitchen counter. Follow-up after the visit is appropriate to quickly close on a buyer.
As usual, great insight into getting the house ready for sale.
Thanks, Ron.
Great insight…from one who knows…Thanks Ron.
Very practical & insightful
good information
Love the additional link and downloads…you guys cover everything!
great lesson!
Salt lamps add a nice warm glow to the rooms and emit negative ions that make it feel good, too.
Great advice to stage the house as if you were expecting dinner guests. Make sure it’s well lit, painted with fresh new colors, and most of all, make sure your ‘sales people’ are on the counter. Thank you for providing the links to the sell sheets, Ron. You think of everything!
Man do not stay the houses! Leave it to the women! LOL
You can stage your homes with Himalayan salt lamps. They add a nice warm glow to the house and make it feel so cozy, plus you feel good when you’re around them because they emit negative ions like the ocean.
Great idea! Thanks Bella.
Hi Ron and Mentors (Students as well),
QUESTION: Have you ever had any issues with staging items missing?
Since no one (like a realtor) enters to see the property along with your prospective buyer, and you don’t know them from Adam, what’s to keep them from stealing something in the house? I know this seems trivial, but I wonder if anyone has experienced this?
Thanks,
Cristina
I never knew there were so many reasons why houses don’t sell.
Sometimes know what not to do is just as important as what to do.
These are great tips on how to sell a house. I followed along with my checklist to make sure nothing was missing. Thanks for sharing this!
