Great News for Floridians from the National Real Estate Insurance Group

Named Storm Coverage Availability in Florida Notice:

NREIG Logo
Hello,

We understand the unique challenges and risks posed by Florida weather patterns. As such, we are pleased to inform you that National Real Estate Insurance Group has secured a limited amount of additional capacity for Named Storm coverage in this state.

Insurance Coverage Requirements:
Coverage amount equal to or greater than $150/ sq. ft.
Maximum Total Insured Value (TIV) of $1MM per location
Minimum $5,000 all other perils (AOP) deductible
Wind deductible of 5% of the TIV – subject to a $5,000 minimum

Ineligible Counties:
Broward
Hillsborough
Miami-Dade
Palm Beach
Pinellas

Act fast. This coverage is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Given the high demand and limited availability, proposals will only be valid for 72 hours.

Contact your Client Service Advisor to request a proposal for your Florida location(s).

As a reminder, as soon as a storm is given a name by the National Weather Service, standard Wind/Hail coverage no longer applies. For damage caused by a named tropical storm or hurricane to be covered, your property policy must include Named Storm coverage.

Thank you for your business,
NREIG Team
